In January 2021, I was a production assistant in the filming of B. a short fan film based on the Boom Studios comic book BRZRKR co-written by Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt. A production assistant helps in all areas of filming, making it ideal for someone wanting to get experience in the field. B. was directed by Miami, Florida filmmaker Jonathan Delgado, Creative Director of Geekvised. The production stars a cast of primarily Miami cosplayers including Eduardo Lagares, Antonina Anime, Adi Rodrigues and GC Christopher. The short film follows an immortal warrior named Brent (Eduardo Lagares) as he is assigned a mission to assassinate a crime lord (Jennifer O’Grady).

Background

I was interested in participating in the project because I wanted experience in the filmmaking field. I felt based on the division I would like to work in the advertising industry, it is necessary to start acquiring entertainment experience. I first heard of…
